Race : Youth Race. Age Groups 5 – 8 compete in a 1 mile run. Age Groups 9 – 15 compete in a 2 mile run.

Location: The picturesque Belle Isle - Tredegar Street - centrally located in downtown Richmond (Event Parking lot is near foot bridge entrance off of

Tredegar Street. Plan on 15 minutes walk from parking lot to Belle Isle over foot bridge.)

Age : Child must be between the ages of 5 -15. Team divisions will be based on the age and gender of the child.

Divisions : Boy: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15; Girls: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15

Awards/Giveaways : Medals are given for the top 3 finishers in each division. All participants receive event t-shirt & cool sponsor giveaways. Some great random prizes can be won by anyone after the awards ceremony.  Must be present to receive the prize.

Registration Fee : $15/participant.  (+$5 on race day) Fee includes t-shirt, ribbon, clinic & giveaways. No T-shirt guarantee after 5 Aug registration!

Tredegar Street. Parking lot will be after the Civil War Museum on your right. Take the foot bridge over to Isle.

Course: 1 Mile Loop around the Isle. Ages 5-8 run 1 loop; ages 9-15 run 2 loops.

Packet Pick-up : Race Day only before 7:15 - .

VOLUNTEERS! In order to make each event a success we need dedicated volunteers to assist with set-up, course marshalling, timing, and tear-down. Breakfast and a thank you package will be provided for the volunteer crew. Your support will contribute to improving the health and shaping the character of participating children. Natural Disaster Policy: For extreme situations only, the Race Director, along with local authorities, can cancel event if extreme weather or other serious threats prevent participation. Decisions will be based on SAFETY FIRST. The final decision will be made on race day. Due to the substantial up front costs required to put on the event, there will be no refunds. We will make an effort to reschedule the event, but cannot promise when or if that will occur. Each team needs to accept this risk of their entry fee.
